The summer Art and I got married, his brother and wife were newly pregnant for their first child.  That child, our very first niece, was born in December that year (1974).  Since the day he first saw her, Art has treasured her and called her "Baby Dawn".  Well, 37 years later, "Baby" Dawn is not so much a baby anymore and she and her longtime beau Gary, tied the knot on June 11 of this year in a very informal wedding at their home in Ohio.  Here are a few pictures of their wedding.

A few weeks ago, Justin went to visit his friend Brian in San Francisco.  Brian recently moved there to work for Apple.  Justin really enjoyed his visit and is thinking of going back for another visit in the fall.  Art and I were there about 10 years ago on a trip and thoroughly enjoyed the are as well.  Here are some of Justin's pictures.

Taylor's Absolutely Most Favorite Ride (NOT!)

The Hollywood Hotel Tower of Terror

The first look

Getting Closer

We're here!!!

If you look closely at the middle row...from L to R...Carla, Shelby, TayTay, and Art.  The reason you can't see Taylor's face is because she had it buried in Shelby's armpit!
This is an awesome ride that we went on at the Studios.  Matter of fact, Art went on it many, many times.  I think this is his favorite (for real).  Taylor on the other hand, didn't like it.

Disney Hollywood Studios

While in Disney of course we visited the Hollywood Studios.  We didn't see all we wanted to simply because it was SO hot and humid.  And with all concrete and asphalt, it was pretty much unforgiving as to the meaness of the heat.  So during our day visit, we didn't see much.  Hollywood Tower of Terror (Taylor's favorite ride EVER!), Beauty and the Beast show, the 50's Prime Time Cafe and then pretty much beatfeet it outta there.  For "Grandma" here, this was a particularly difficult day between the physical pain and the heat.  Which really disappointed me because as you all know, I just love every nook and cranny of Disney and I just couldn't do justice to showing it ALL to the girls.  But we loved what we saw and as Shelby says, "it gives us a good reason to GO BACK!"
