Summer is winding down

Well, summer is winding down and many things have happened over the summer that have given us pause to think about life and what it means. All of us in the family have asked ourselves many questions relating along the lines of "why?" and what it's boiled down to is "why not?". We've learned that we're not invincible. We're not shielded from life nor should we be anymore than the next person. And we've grown wiser. Quite a bit wiser it seems an some of us, much more wary. But it is a good life that God has bestowed on us. We have new additions. Our friends Lisa and Mike have wonderful twin boys who are growing and developing like weeds! Alex and Julie have added baby Jett to their family giving us another light in our life. One that we are continually thankful for. We are truly a blessed family!

The New Arrival

Introducing Master Jett Campbell Morrison who was born on August 14, 2008 at 0911 a.m.
Here's some pics with his Mom Julie, and Dad Alex...and I've had a chance to snuggle with him already...what a precious bundle and another bright spot in our lives!!
Jett weighed 7# 10 oz, and measure 20 1/2 inches long...a wee bit smaller than big brother, Jude....

We have a new arrival!!!

Announcing the arrival of Master Jett Morrison at 0911 this morning. He weighed in at 7 p0unds, 10 ounces and is 20 1/2 inches long. Both Mom and Jett are doing well, Dad is a bit overwhelmed and Jude says "he cries". Whoa boy, he ain't seen nothin' yet! Hopefully some pics will follow this weekend!!

While it's so very true that our family has been blessed in many ways this summer, the summer has taken its toll and at times we're confuzzled, but mostly in shock. Just so our friends and family know, Mama hasn't forgotten you all but has a lot of work to do on "Birtville" so please bear with her and we'll be back in full swing shortly!
